Moss holds moisture against slates and tiles. Over time it can lift them, let water in and block gutters. Regular cleaning helps your roof last longer.

Can you remove my solar panels before re-roofing?

Yes. Our MCS certified solar team at Solar Central Scotland removes the panels safely and refits them once the roof work is complete.

Do I need permission to replace my roof?

Like-for-like roof replacement does not usually need planning permission. Listed buildings, conservation areas and some changes to a roof can have extra requirements. We advise you during the survey, and you can confirm with your local council.
